WHAT IS EEG?

An electroencephalogram (EEG) allows us to measure the electrical activity of the brain. During an EEG, we place small electrodes on the scalp. These electrodes allow us to monitor and record brainwaves.

EEG has proven to be highly effective in studying clinical conditions such as epilepsy, cerebral stroke, traumatic brain injury as well as monitoring brain functions in neonatal, paediatric and adult population with installations in intensive care units, emergency rooms, sleep and other research laboratories.
